Smockk..

“Went for the backflip, didn’t quite make it”

What is the “rat”? A typical well-known phenomenon that goes under many names, we call this the rat or rotta. It defines someone trying to perform a move, where something goes wrong due to (for example) unknown compression, or simply underestimating your own ability to perform that move. It is well illustrated in the video above (you have to land on your back/neck for it to be eligible). We find this very funny, although, very heroic.

Edit from Brage at Jumpclub.no, ft some new smooth rails in Vassfjellet, Brage, Mathias, Kenneth, Morten, Olav, Alfred, Øystein and Jørgen.

The day started off good, after a few warm up runs down the park, my face had a nice meeting with the salted-icy rail landing after i gapped the whole thing and slipped on my toe edge. After that we decided to pick up the camera to film a few laps, but when we got back there were no boards to be found (stupid gullible norwegians). So after a few hours at the security and the sheriffs departement, we went to KFC, where they served me some half cooked chicken i didnt even order. And since we needed new boards, we went to this shop where i got accused of shoplifting, as I unfortunately picked up a empty skullcandy package found inside a flanell shirt (I guess my busted-face-look match a hobo’s right now). After a full body search at Blauer, we went home to discover that Jørgen was out of snus, and after a hour of resarch we found that nobody sell this in the states (no, IKEA doesent either).

But what the hell, we’re happy campers anyways, and theres only like 3 days till the rest of the gang is coming, it’s gonna be a blast!

Photos taken at day two, mostly taken from the chairlift, zoomed in, crap quality. These pics covers about 1/10 of the park, it’s good!

Here are some casual pics from our second day at Bear Mountain. We got pretty stoked when we saw that parts of the jib setups were changed from yesterday, and that they shape the whole park like every two hours. This place is awesome!

Here are a few pics from the first day:

First day of riding today, posting pics from Bear tomorrow.

One day in Åre with Jørgen, Alfred and Olav, the red line and rail setups are insanely fun right now!

Only a few more days here in rainy Trondheim before the whole gang suits up in LA, California to shred one of the most hyped resorts out there, Bear Mountain. My poor english doesent allow me to articulate such awesomeness, this is where we are going:
